Cascades Lines West
With mainline tracks newly completed, this will be the first time the HO scale Cascades Lines West is open for public viewing. It’s a Golden Spike debut!
The CLW is an HO scale proto freelanced layout set in the Seattle area circa 1955, designed for operations. It fills a 25’ x 40’ area of my basement. Features include a very large classification yard, lots of industrial and maritime switching, and a long mainline up into the Cascade mountains. Even though the mainline and staging are complete, and the yard only needs its turntable, the Cascades Lines West is still very much a construction zone! Trains will run, showing off the promise of this ambitious railroad.
