  1. Article I: Election of Officers
    • 1. Division officers must be members in good standing in the Front Range Division and the National Model Railroad Association. The Superintendent shall also be a member in good standing of the Rocky Mountain Region.
    • 2. The term of office for all officers shall be one year beginning with the November meeting.
    • 3. Officers may succeed themselves indefinitely.
    • 4. Nominations from the floor will be taken at the September meeting preceding the elections, and the nominees names will be published in the Division Publication prior to the October meeting.
    • 5. Elections will be held by secret ballot at the October meeting.
    • 6. Officers elected at the October meeting will take office at the following regular meeting.
  2. Article II: Meetings
    • 1. Regular meetings shall be held on the third Monday of each month.
    • 2. Special Interest Group meetings may be held either in conjunction with regular meetings, or as desired by the group.
  3. Article III: Expenses and Finance
    • 1. All expenses incurred by the Division shall be defrayed by member dues, special fees, donations, or assessments.
    • 2. All officers of the Division shall serve without compensation, with the exception of actual and reasonable expenses incurred with their duties.
    • 3. The Treasurer will maintain such accounts as needed for safe keeping of the funds of the Division and will discharge all expenses of the Division as authorized.
    • 4. All disbursements in excess of $50.00 shall be countersigned by two officers authorized to sign checks on the Division account.
  4. Article IV: Dues, Fees, and Assessments
    • 1. Annual dues shall be $12.00 per year, payable October 1st of each year, and will be pro-rated on a monthly basis for new members.
    • 2. Fees may be assessed for special projects, material, and/or activities of general interest to the entire membership, only after a notice has been mailed to all members explaining same and asking that objections take the form of a negative vote at the next regular meeting. At the next meeting, a vote on the proposal will be taken with the approval constituting sixty (60%) of the members present voting for approval.
  5. Article V: Amendments
    • 1. Bylaws may be changed by a sixty (60%) majority vote of a quorum at any regular meeting. A quorum is defined as no less than one-third (1/3) of members in good standing of whom at least two (2) shall be elected officers of the division.
